Waterproof labels for outdoor use & industrial applications
Waterproof labels & stickers with barcodes
Waterproof labels are made from plastic film (PE or PET) and are resistant to moisture, rain and direct contact with water. Unlike paper labels, they do not dissolve and the print remains legible. They are indispensable for outdoor applications, laboratory environments and the food industry.
Materials for waterproof labels
PE film (polyethylene): Flexible and waterproof. Ideal for slightly curved surfaces such as bottles and containers. PET film (polyester): Rigid and tear-resistant, as well as chemical and UV-resistant. Ideal for outdoor use and industrial applications. PP film (polypropylene): A transparent, waterproof option for discreet labelling.
Applications
Outdoor inventory, horticultural labelling, frozen food labelling, laboratory sample labelling, bottle labels, chemical containers and construction site signage.

Do waterproof labels hold up in the freezer?
Yes, PE and PET labels with freezer-grade adhesive can withstand temperatures down to -40°C. The special freezer-grade adhesive is key.
Can I print on waterproof labels myself?
Yes, using a thermal transfer printer and a resin ribbon. Direct thermal printing is not recommended for films, as the print quality suffers.
