What data can a QR code store?
A QR code can store up to 4,296 characters – enough for URLs, serial numbers, contact details or short texts. For inventory purposes, 10–50 characters are usually sufficient.
How big does a QR code label need to be?
The minimum size depends on the amount of data. A 10x10mm QR code is sufficient for a simple inventory number. For URLs, we recommend at least 15x15mm.
